Our Health and Safety Policy states that Fernoak fosters a positive health and safety culture to maintain high standards of health and safety as a moral and commercial pre-requisite.

Ensuring that all staff members are fully competent to carry out their tasks and given adequate training, instruction and supervision

Accreditations

ARB Approved Contractors � The ARB Association vet our Company policies, procedures and compliance. This accreditation is assessed on the BS 3998 British Standards for Tree Work and ensures compliance with current legislation and the protection of wildlife and the environment.

NPTC City & Guilds � provide vocational courses to test the competence of its applicants, awarding certificates in forestry, tree work and maintenance. Arboricultural industries recognise NPTC accreditation as an official mark of excellence.

CHAS Accreditation - Focus on Health and Safety, assessing Companies on training, competence and inspections. As accredited contractors, we conduct all tree surgery through maximum safety and are fully trained in Emergency and Forestry first aid.
